Overview

The RAM-111U Kit consists of a medium double socket arm, 2.5" diameter round base, and 6.25" x 2" rectangle base.

The round base includes a 1.5" C size rubber ball and contains pre-drilled holes, including the universal AMPS hole pattern. The rectangle base also includes a 1.5" C size rubber ball and contains a variety of pre-drilled holes that are compatible with several marine electronic devices, including fishfinders and chartplotters. Plates, ball and clamp system for mounting anything to anything. Cast-aluminium.

• Does this kit include the hardware needed to bolt it to a flat surface?

  No, the hardware required to install this mount is not included. Because these are mounted to such a wide variety of materials and applications we do not know what hardware to provide. The best resource for that type of information is usually a local hardware store or the manufacturer of the vehicle you are mounting to.

• What screws are used to attach the RAM Mount to the gimbal bracket?

  Typically the gimbal bracket included with your fishfinder will also come with mounting screws that should connect to the RAM^® mounting plate. As these mounts are universal and are for many different applications, the necessary hardware needed for each application will vary. For marine applications, RAM^® recommends stainless steel hardware to prevent corrosion.

• What size screws are needed for the holes on this ball plate?

  The most common screw sizes are #8, #10, M4 and M5 screws. However, if you are pairing this with any RAM^® Holder, the holder will come with the necessary hardware to connect to your mount.
