Overview

RAM-109VU, The RAM single swing arm mount consists of a 6" long swing arm mounted on a vertical surface mounting base. At the device mounting end of the mount is a rectangular 6.25" x 2" plate.

There are two (2) pivoting points on the mount. One at the swing arm and base and one at the center of the rectangular plate and the end of the swing arm. Each pivoting point allows a complete 360 degree rotation.

  • Will this work with Garmin Echomap UHD2 94SV?

  • Is this compatible with the Elite FS 9

    Yes, this will be compatible with your Lowrance ELITE FS 9.

     

  • Can this be purchased with the 11 inch base? I have a SIMRAD NSS9 evo 3 and the plastic Gimbal mount only has holes near the end of the mount (about 8.5" apart). The entire mount is 11.75" long and 2.5" wide

    I'm sorry but we don't have the swing arm mount with the larger 11 inch base.  For that size gimbal we recommend RAM-D-111U, which can also be attached to a vertical surface.

     

  • What is the height of the vertical mounting plate?And the distance between top and bottom mounting holes please?

    The height of the vertical mounting plate will be 4.85" & the distance between the center of the top and bottom mounting holes will be 3.170".

  • The overview says this is rated for 8 pounds but is compatible with the Helix 15. Is there any concern that a Helix 15 mounted on this unit would break it?

    This is compatible with some restriction. If you are planning to be in rougher waters and more vibration, we would NOT recommend the weight of the Helix 15 on this mount. If you feel you will be in calmer water’s then this would work with your Helix 15.

     

  • Is this compatible with Helix 5 Chirp SI GPS G2?

    The RAM-109VU will not work with the Helix 5 Chirp SI GPS G2. Please see the RAM-202-153-202U.

  • I'm looking to mount two Live 12s on the bow of a deep-v. I was thinking about purchasing two vertical 6in swing arm mounts. My question is, does the knob on the vertical mount allow the arm to disconnect from the mount without tools? I'm thing for travel, storage, and security.

    Yes, you can loosen either of the tightening knobs of the RAM-109VU enough to remove the electronics mounting plate or the swing arm when not in use.
